Zotero is a Firefox extension which will automatically detect when you are on a website that contains information related to citations (i.e. a library OPAC), and will collect this information for you. It will also let you save the web page itself, and any associated files (images, pdfs, etc.), and let you take notes. Everything is organized and saved, and you can edit information as needed, and export the formatted citations to your paper when done.
It will be released sometime this fall, so if you have a reason to be interested in research and scholarship, this is one to watch.
This is yet another example of the potential that exists in the Firefox browser. This is more than a screen scraper, this is a powerful research tool.
